Obituary for Rita P. DiMascio (Vannicola)
DiMascio
Rita (nee Vannicola) passed away on March 13, 2017, peacefully and surrounded by family in her home in South Philadelphia where she was a longtime resident. She was an exceptionally caring wife in a successful 37 year marriage to the late Rocco; she was an extraordinarily dedicated and loving mother to five children all of whom survive her: Diane DiMascio, Priscilla (James) Mueller, Lisa (Robert) Evans, Anthony DiMascio, and Rocco DiMascio; And honorary mother to David Randolf; grandmother of Erica, Zachary, Caroline, and Natalie; sister of the late Louis, Anna, and Rose; also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on SATURDAY at 9:30 am Stella Maris Church, 10th and Bigler Sts. Interment to follow Mass at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Programs Employing People, 1200 South Broad St., Phila., PA 19146.ARR. By PENNSYLVANIA BURIAL CO., INC. (215) 334-1717
