The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Michele Semeraro can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Papa`

Michele Semeraro was the beloved husband of Comasia, devoted father of Dino (Cathy), Theresa (Richard), Dolores (Don), and Mariann (Domenico), loving grandfather of Michael (Charity), Frank (Caitlin), Michael, Anthony, Danielle (Eric), Krysta, Antonio (Elaina), Mimmo, and Luciano, and doting great grandpop of Gianna, Gina, Jose, Charles, Frankie, Gia, Nicolette, Matthew, Anthony, Samuel, Damon, Lucas, and Naomi.

Papa` was a hard-working tailor all his life, called maestro by his apprentices and fellow tailors because of the excellence, precision, and expertise of his profession.  He loved his family with all his heart and was the happiest when we were all together with him.  He taught us love, respect, patience, and fairness.  He always sat at the head of the table so he was able to watch and laugh with each member of his family when we were all gathered for parties.  Our family grew so big that we would have to shout just to hear one another with all the conversations, laughter, and children playing.  He always had a big smile and kiss for every child, always patting their head and caressing their cheek.

Papa` loved animals and made sure they always had enough to eat - feeding them breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  They loved him - pets and strays.  His cat in the back yard has been looking for him since he's been gone.  He only let my father touch him.

Papa` loved going out, especially to the casinos, watching people and playing the slots.  He was a humble, affectionate man who loved life, celebrations, and balloons.   He loved my mom dearly, loved to tease her, laugh with her, and take her arm in his.  We will miss you so much, Papa`.
